Κουράστηκα πολύ σήμερα στο σχολείο
Τα μαθήματα δύσκολα κι εγώ δεν είμαι πια νέος
Όμως τα παιδιά τράβηξαν με τα χέρια τους το καλοκαίρι πιο κοντά
Του φόρεσαν τα κοντά παντελόνια και άφησαν τα παράθυρα ανοιχτά όλη μέρα
Έβαλαν τα πουλιά στα δέντρα, στη θέση του το καθένα, για να τραγουδήσουν
Έβαλαν στη θάλασσα το γράμμα θήτα που της είχε πάρει ένας γλάρος
Και άφησαν τα καράβια με τ' άσπρα πανιά να βγουν απ' το λιμάνι
